To enhance our communities' ability to mitigate, prepare, respond and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring that human needs are effectively assessed and met.
The COAD serves East Side Health District's service area, including Alorton, Brooklyn, Cahokia, Centreville, East St. Louis, Fairmont City, and Washington Park.
The state of Illinois is currently following a five stage plan for reopening, but there is still risk! It is important that we continue to protect ourselves by staying home when possible, keeping six feet away from others, washing hands for 20 seconds regularly or using hand sanitizer, wearing a mask, and cleaning surfaces often!

Coordinating the distribution of essential resources including PPE, connecting people to housing services, and advancing the Prepare Greater ESTL campaign.
Communications & Advocacy
Keeping people informed about needs and resources, amplifying youth voice, creating platforms to improve collaboration, and lifting up issues of racial equity to prompt action.
